How do I get rid of a hum when my dvd and tv are connected?

I’m trying to get DVD audio into a mixing board(radio board) cleanly. The DVD audio is clean UNTIL I connect it the video cable between the TV and DVD player, then a strong hum comes through. I tried different tvs and dvd players, and the hum always returns once the video connection is made between the tv and dvd player. I’ve also experimented with grounded power strips and shielded cables with no success. I’m trying to get DVD audio for audio production, so the hum negates using the ‘hum-backed’ audio. Thanks.

I have an older TV, it works great and it only has one port, cable in port. I want to connect a DVD, or my PS2 to this TV in my spare room. How do I connect a DVD player to an older TV? I have cable hooked to the TV, I do not want to purchase another TV at this time it is a good TV, and this is only in the spare room so there is not need for a new TV, I am just looking for some sort of adaptor or splitter that would allow me to connect both cable and a DVD player to this TV.

Thanks.

What’s so difficult about mounting your LCD TV to the wall yourself?

The wall is brick. The TV’s heavy. Besides that, why should I hire a professional? My TV’s a Sony and of course, they recommend their own bracket and suggest you hire a professional. I can pick up a universal bracket anywhere and I have a drill. Why shouldn’t I do it myself?

Santiago asked:

I noticed that the TVs have start with channel 2 instead of channel 1. I am wondering why for a long time. I searched on the TVs channel system. I noticed that the channel 3 is 60Mhz frequency and channel 4 is 66Mhz. So, the channel 2 could be 54Mhz and channel 1 could be 48Mhz frequency. The frequency allocation could be changed over time. So, what is wrong with the 48Mhz? I am wondered that why did they remove channel 1 for TV?

Thank you for take your time to answer this question.

When did TV shows start showing previews of next weeks episodes?

Just wanting to know when TV shows started showing clips of Next Weeks Episode at the end of Today’s episode? What I mean is Next week on Criminal Minds people are missing who is it.

Don’t remember seeing this much if at all in the 1970’s, 1980’s, or most of the 1990’s. Have TV shows always done this, or is just something they have recently started and if so what year did they start doing this? Is this to get you to not make other arrangements so you will watch the show next week?

jasonniebauer asked:

I bought a Macbook Pro recently, and was curious about how to have my tv shows appear on my iTunes. I’m trying to do so without having to take them off my old Macbook, put them on an external drive, and then onto the new Macbook. For some reason, I thought iTunes would recognize purchased material? I have set up my iTunes on my new Macbook, but all of my purchased material is not showing up. Any suggestions?
