How do i get my older brother to stop being addicted to tv?

My older brother is 15 and all he ever does is watch tv, before he was addicted to video games and now that my parents took them away from him he is addicted to tv. He never leaves the house, and whenever he tries something new, he does it once before going back to the tv. How do i stop his addiction?
