And by the way my tv does have an s video connection on it. Also if it is possible, how do i do it and what will i need?
Maybe not very good graphics but decent/readable and accpetable is what im lookin for.

I have a computer and a TV. They are connected to each other. I want to see on TV screen something specific, let’s say a video, but I do not want to see it on my computer screen, too.

I have Sharp Aquos TV which has very few input options. I bought a VGA SVGA DB15 Male to RGB TV Out RCA Adapter Cable to connect my laptop to it (to display the computer screen on the TV). Once connected, at best I get flickering, mostly pink static on the TV but mostly not even that.

Is there going to be any way to connect them?

However as I decrease the resolution on my laptop the resolution increases on the tv. When I close the lid of my laptop, my tv shows the resolution on my laptop so I know that the tv is capable of the resolution of my laptop.
