Some people take a video camera and record there tv playing but that has bad graphics.

Others have videos on youtube that seem to have been recorded using dvd’s. For example, a tv show came on a couple of days ago, I missed it, but now I can watch it on YouTube. The video looks excellent. Is there any other way to this besides using a dvd recorder?

A TV Tuner card can capture inputs from coaxial. Then they can record the captured input to a file and edit it before uploading. [who]

They are called capture cards. They hook up to your TV and computer and save it to your computer. It keeps the same quality as the TV and can then be uploaded to YouTube. [who]
