How much longer are the presidential debates on TV going for?
♦!Jennie!♦ asked:
Because i am really starting to get ticked off. They keep interrupting good TV Shows at night like new series and we can’t watch them because even if we turn the TV all’s we see are the presidential debates going on. So how much longer are they going to be interrupting regular programming?

until the elections i guess [who]
I haven’t a clue, but they should have a specific channel for that, if you want to watch……….you watch………I’ve been over it already!! [who]
They are, no doubt, deluded, thinking those who will be rushing to the polls to vote as they’ve been told to vote will actually care what the candidates have to say.
I might add that at this particular time in world history, it’s a really, really bad time *not* to care, no matter how many series episodes get bumped.
Of course those same episodes will also be disrupted by the baseball playoffs and the world series. Not that those will be broadcast on all channels, but no channels will want to go up against them for ratings, so they’ll air repeat episodes. [who]
Not much longer. There was one on Friday (not that there are really many good TV shows on Friday, there’s a reason the ‘timeslot of death’ is later friday nights), I think, then there will be a Vice-Presidential debate tonight, and one more Presidential debate on Tuesday. Considering that there are only 3 of them, and they’re not even interrupting the same shows twice since they’re all on different nights, and they’re a very important way for people to get informed about the candidates and make the decision who should be the next President, I’m not complaining. Personally, I’d rather have to wait an extra week for my favorite TV show than have the voting population make an uninformed decision about who should lead our country for the next 4 years. [who]
