How to watch a tv screen or projector screen during the day?
Melissa asked:
I want to share a slide show for our vow renewal this August, but we are having it outside. I need to know what will work outside that can be seen during the daytime hours. A tv or a projector on a screen? I need ideas, as I know most won’t work with the natural light. Thanks!

I think it’s more important where the sun is in relation to the screen. Depending on the time of day, I would recommend it not be in front or behind, but off to either side at a 90 degree angle, or perhaps under a tent or canopy. But to answer your question, if you use a TV, I would recommend a direct-view TV or plasma as opposed to an LCD. Of course the answer also depends on how many guests you want to show it to. If you expect a large turn-out and you want them all to see it simultaneously, you’ll need a projector. Maybe you should try a test run before the big day, if you can find someone willing to set that up for you. …And, congratulations! [who]
