I have an idea for a tv show. How should I go about getting it noticed by a hollywood agent?

I have an idea for a tv show. I have a one page description which pretty well sums up the concept. I have it submitted with the Writer’s Guild, should I begin shopping the idea around to different studios, or get an agent? An ideas would be appreciated!

It would be a good idea to get your idea to a lawyer and get it coptyrighted [who]
Neither approach will get you any further ahead of the 10,000+ other people doing EXACTLY the same thing, RIGHT NOW!!
Instead, use the Hollywood Digest and other publications to find out what prod. cos are looking for and find out what type of query letter to send, synopsis, format, etc. And which of their assistants to write. Then send your idea ONLY it if matches to the letter, what they are after.
But before doing that, have a professional read it for typos. It’s amazing how easy it is to miss a punctuation point without realising or put hte by mistake.
Then submit… [who]
