My daughter wanted wireless headphones to listen to her tv without creating noise for the rest of the family. I bought her some, but there are no audio output jacks (only input) or headphone jacks on my tvs. How can I solve the problem without buying a special tv?

How long will a TV retain charge after being unplugged?

I have an old console TV that I would like to turn into a fish aquarium. I have read that TVs contain parts that retain electrical charge for a long time after being unplugged. How long will these parts be dangerous? If I unplug the TV and turn on the power switch, will that speed up the discharging? Is there any way to ensure that it will not zap me when I start removing parts?

Thanks!

I have basic cable and am unsure if I am affected by the change and need a converter box. Anyway, all my tv channels except a few like CNN just went out a couple minutes ago, on all my tvs. I have basic cable (channels 2-70 something). Unsure if this is the thing that people have been talking about with how some people’s tvs were going to stop working.

Is there a way to split the signal from one direct tv reciever to other tvs? Does it just take a coax splitter or what does it take. I am having it installed later on today and want to know for my reference so I can better place the reciever. Is there any complications or drawbacks to splitting? Thank you for your time and help. And DON’T tell me to just pay for another reciever.

I have an old tv that only goes upto channel 32 and I want to watch all the 100+ channels that I get from my cable service. The tv does not have any AV socket (the red, white, yellow sockets you see on most tvs). What device do I need to look for so that I can set my TV to channel 3 and flip through 100+ channels on that device? If you could find me a sample on ebay or something that would be a great help! Thanks.
