The connection that you’re looking for is present on most new HDTV’s; it’s called a VGA connection.
It looks like a small blue trapezoid; about 3/4 of an inch wide and 1/4 of an inch high; with 3 rows of pins.
If you ask at any TV Retailer (Best Buy, etc); they will be able to tell you for certain which models accept VGA input.
Another option is that some newer computers are now offering HDMI output (in addition to VGA). You might check to see if your computer has this option — if so, the connection to the TV is even easier; with better quality, too! [who]
VGA as previously posted is standard. HDMI is the best quality available.
If PC has HDMI available then that would be the way to go. Excellent for multimedia and gaming. Otherwise, it’ll be the vga “blue” trapezoid connection.
(I currently have HDMI connection to a 42″ and it’s crisp!) [who]
